November 21, 2005U.K. progressive metallers THRESHOLD have issued the following update on their current activities:
"Karl [Groom, guitar] and Rich [West, keyboards] are hoping to find time soon to mix the live album that THRESHOLD recorded on tour last year. Provisionally entitled 'Surface To Stage', it will be the first time that the band has released such epic tracks as 'The Art Of Reason', 'Into The Light' and 'Echoes Of Life' in a live format. The album will be sold direct to the fans through the THRESHOLD website, www.thresh.net, in the same way as the 'Replica' album was released in 2004.
"The ProgPower USA organisation have released a limited-run DVD featuring a documentary of the ProgPower USA V festival. The DVD also includes live footage of many bands who've appeared at the festival, including THRESHOLD's performance of 'Long Way Home' in 2002. Fans who bought THRESHOLD's own 'Critical Energy' DVD will have already seen three live tracks from this 2002 performance, and for a while a fifth track 'Falling Away' was also available as a video download.
